Grossbutt

Here the last schoolproject I worked on with an amazing group of 4 CGA students...

Camilla Thorsted Cording, Niels Peter Kaagaard, Stephen Brossman and myself

...and 3 Animation students

Helena Smith,Clara Baidel and Jonas B. Mikkelsen

+ three animation helpers
Camilla P.,Emmanouil K., Signe T.S.

The assignment was to make a 30 seconds trailer for a movie, we came up with, which is based on the essence of a given classic....our given movie was "Citizen Kane".

We had about 3 Months time even though +- 50% of it were still school lessons. So about 1 1/2 to 2 months workingtime.

Here some of the stuff i worked on + the "final" result.

( My part was mainly the characterdesign, storyboard, rigging, rendering and compositing)

Escape-Project

After again a long time of not posting anything, here a small sequence i worked on with Sirid Garff(an aspiring character animation Student) for a first year school project.
The goal was to create 2 shots over 5 seconds which belong to a big story we came up with.
It only had to do something with "escaping".

Sirid worked on the Characterdesign and the 2D animation and i did all the Layout/3D/CG stuff.

First 2 weeks in Viborg

In the first two Weeks of the CGA Bachelor we had to creat a tiny short not longer than 30secs (+3secs for credits). 2 guys out of the CGA and 2 guys of the CA built one group. In each group was at least one guy who had enough experience to create a movie.
Lucky me, i was put in a group with 3 really nice people (Camilla G Pedersen CA, Dionyses Douliakas CA and Asdis Jonsdottir CGA).

The story had to be based on a given soundfile.

I worked on the layout and the whole compositing.

For the fact, that none of the 3 other guys had much experience in animating and working with photoshop, tv paint etc. and that we had to join lecturelessons during the 2weeks with the result, that we had like +- 9 workingdays for the short left,...

...the movie get quiet good ;-)

First 3D Short

A tiny Shortfilm Ringo Klapschinsky and I worked on for about 3 1/2 Months.

(Unfortunately we had to hurry up at the end so we couldnt render it in HD)

Henrike Rothe drew the lovely 2D Animation at the end.
